The Public Works Division of the City of Miami Beach says because CMB had such a big jump in Storm Water fees in 2015, they do not expect there will be an increase again in the near future. The biggest part of our Sept 2015 Special Assessment was to pay for a huge increase in our monthly water bill.

Be aware that there’s more bad news right around the corner: the CMB Public Works Commission is considering increasing what we pay for water and sewer fees.  The two proposed that the PWD will discuss in September are

• A water fee rising from $4.43/unit to $4.65/unit
• A sewer increasing from $7.55/unit to $8.23/unit.
