Wed Feb 11, 2015, 11p — The water will be shut off at The Presidential from 10a-2p onThursday Feb 12 as final repairs are completed to add a shutoff valve to pipes in the garage area.

The valve replacement project was supposed to be completed by 4p on Wed. However, work continued into the evening until about 8:30p when the system was restarted. When the water began to flow one of the pipes burst, forcing the contractor to shut off the water again to repair the joint.

The joint was sealed and water was flowing again by 10p.

The contractor recommends that residents run the tap for a few minutes and boil water you plan to use for cooking and drinking until all repairs are completed.

The Presidential Board of Directors apologizes for the delays in completing this project and any inconvenience it has caused people in the building.
